Rainy Day to Lake Ontario

We all seemed to have a restful night in Polaski, NY. I even was able to go to a laundry mat. I always feel a little boost when I have clean clothes.

Today‘s ride was a mix of rolling hills with a head wind. After the second rest stop the skies opened up and it poured during our last 30 miles. I was fortunate enough to pack my amazing Aero/Tech Reflective rain jacket. I was completely dry while others were not so lucky.

On rainy days I usually don’t take a lot of pictures while riding and today was no exception. However, after arriving in Sodus Point on the shore of Lake Ontario I was in awe of the views from our soggy campsite. This may be one of the prettiest areas I ever camped in. We‘re camping on the Lighthouse Museum grounds. It’s supposed to rain again tonight but I actually like hearing the rain on my tent. Tomorrow we begin riding the Erie Canal to Buffalo.
