The Daniel Baptist Crew and our MS Team
Today after a quick pass through Savannah we crossed into South Carolina. Most of our 84 mile day was spent trying not to get killed on highway 17 and 170. There wasn’t much of a shoulder and cars few by at 65 mph. Once in awhile we’d take a side road but those roads were in such disrepair that I blew out my front tire.

We also encountered some real jerks on the highway. Twice young guys yelled and threw things out of the windows. In Georgia drivers were always patient and courteous. Not so much in the Palmetto State. I’m hoping tomorrow’s 94 mile ride to Charleston is safer and friendlier.

Tonight we’re staying in the Lighthouse Baptist Church in Beaufort, SC. Reverend Moses has been very kind and his church is more than adequate.
