Can’t Stop Thinking About Tomorrow

Last night watching the last rays of sunshine
My next to last day on the Northern Tier has been an extremely easy 50 mile day. I didn’t take pictures because the ride was so uneventful. We’re all sitting in a soccer field 30 miles from Seattle eating vegan burgers and vegetables. Hopefully I pitched my tent far enough from the sprinklers. I think I could become a vegan for a couple days. Maybe I really could become a pescatarian. For many of my buddies, that’s not a religion, but a diet that excludes meat but allows fish. I’m doubtful though that I could really commit to not having a great burger once in a while. It’s nice finishing a ride early but then we have a tendency to sit around and eat and drink all afternoon. It’s 8:00 and most people are in their tents, as I am, blogging or watching downloaded movies on their IPads. Most of the riders may have trouble falling asleep because they are about to finish an incredible ride across America. For me it’s just another night because I continue on after tomorrow to San Diego. However, I will enjoy a day in Seattle before my next adventure begins.
