After surviving the “End of Days” storm I had a good night’s sleep but I can’t say I had a great ride today. I had my Sunday legs, which means I was pretty lazy. The wind was in our faces and the shoulder of the road was very narrow and cars and trucks past by very closely. I’m glad I arrived safely. We’re staying at a Baptist Church in Glasgow, nicknamed, The Middle of Nowhere. I’m sitting in a great little brewery called The Busted Knuckle Brewery with a few of the younger riders. They’re much more refreshing than the grouchy old riders. These rides are never perfect so you need to adapt or be miserable. I think I adapt well.
