I’ve been in Scotland for three days now and I’ve found it impossible to post my blog. We’ve been in churches and a campground, all without service. However, that’s the only negative I have to complain about. Scotland is stunningly beautiful. The Highlands are much more spectacular than I could have ever imagined. I’m writing this blog looking out at Lock Ness while a boat works its way through the five locks. The town of Lock Ness is small and very touristy but very quaint. We’re staying at an old church that is quite nice. However, there were no showers available so I timidity, but bravely took a bath in the Lock. Don’t worry, I used biodegradable soap so I wouldn’t harm the monster that makes its home there. The ride is going well and I’m really enjoying the beautiful sights, people and of course the pubs. Last night Mac, Andrew and I raised £80 just telling the patrons about our adventure and of course the worthwhile charity we ride for. I’m using someone’s wi-fi hot spot to post this and they’re about to turn their phone off. Hopefully I can tell you more once we get north oh Inverness.
