All of these kegs are being loaded into the

Ring Pub for tonight’s World Cup match between England and Croatia.

I’m disappointed that I’m not able to insert photos into my blog other than the lead in picture. I was able to do this last year on my journey across America. Hopefully I will be able to figure out this problem because there are so many sights I want to share. I may just try and set up a photo page. I blog from my I Phone and it’s usually a reliable tool. Today I welcomed Dave, Mac and Mac’s son, Andrew, to London. Dave is one of my oldest friends from Waynesburg College. When we were in our early twenties we traveled across the US like two vagabonds. We were in each other’s weddings and have reminded friends for a long time. Last summer, Dave and I rode our bikes across New York. We also traversed Missouri on our bicycle a few years back. Mac is from the North Hills of Pittsburgh and we’ve been riding together for a number of years. We’ve also shared a pint or two on many occasions. Mac is a strong rider who is one of the few people that can accelerate going up hills. His son Andrew is a welcome addition to the group and I know he’ll add a youthful spark to this group of grumpy old men. Today I finally got my bike and Cindy received her luggage. It only took three days. Now Mac’s bike has been delayed at the airport. We hope to pick it up on our way to Penzance. Mac has rented a seven passenger vehicle and we’re hoping we can get all four bikes and our gear loaded into the vehicle. If we can’t then Dave and I will take the train. Today has been a hectic day as we tried to coordinate our Thursday departure from London. Also, the city was afire with World Cup fever. Wimbledon is in full swing and the US Embassy put out a warning that said American citizens should keep a low profile because of Donald Trumps’s visit to the the area on Friday. I’m ready get out of town.
