Today was our first day off from riding but we were up early and we headed to Tara's house which was in a suburb of Phoenix. Tara has MS and many other complications. She's a great lady and was extremely appreciative of the yard work, painting and general maintenance we were able to do.

I chose yard work so I could be outside and I feel very confident cutting grass, painting no so much. However, Pat and I were able to fix the running toilet and helped to save water in an arid region. We are now officially environmentalists.
I did take time to make new friends.

We finished up at around 12 and we all headed back for long deserved naps. I took care of a few minor maintenance needs and some shopping.
Despite the nap, it's 8:00 PM and I'm ready for bed. Tomorrow we climb 6,000 ft. Into the Superstition Mountains. With any luck, maybe I'll find the Lost Duchman's Mine.
I hope I can make the 88 mile climb. Tomorrow is considered one of the toughest days. However the temperature won't be as high as it has been.
Tomorrow is another day!
